4th of July

For the 4th of July we went to Heber to Brandon's brother's house. It was a lot of fun and the weather was great. The kids played with the slip and slide and a little pool. The grownups ate!!!!
Behind their house is a big playgroung and a tennis court. We took advantage of that and had a lot of fun. We played doubles against Justin and Michelle and Brandon and I won!!!! Yay!!!!
Before we even got started for the day Austin fell on the sidewalk and scraped most of his nose off. It looked ok until the end of the day, then it turned into a giant scab.

From here on out, I am pretty sure that every picture that you see of Austin he will have a ball in his hands. It is so hard to get a good picture of Kylee she is just too busy to stop and pose and when she does, she pulls the weirdest faces. This one turned out pretty good though. Although it looks like she has to go to the bathroom.

I just had to take a picture of my Rice Krispy treats. Aren't they so festive? I know I try!

Austin on a girl bike. Hmmmm....

You can't really see this picture very well, but Brandon was the only one in our family that actually did the fireworks. Kylee was scared to hold the sparklers (no news there) and Austin was out cold on my lap.

My little dancer

This year we decided to get Kylee into dance. She LOVED it!!!! Every morning she would ask me if it was time to go to dance yet. They did there little dance recital in June, and it turned out so adorable. Kylee came out on stage with her hands over her eyes. I thought she was crying. Once the music started she began to do the dance, and did sooooo good. I was so proud, I couldn't stop smiling:) I was one proud mama.

Cloie also did so good. She is a natural. I think she loves being up there on stage.

I tried unsuccessfully to download the video of their actual dance and it won't work. I am very frustrated about that, but I did manage to upload this one. It is of them in their dance class. It is very cute as well. I will keep trying to upload the other video. I don't know what is wrong. Arghhhhh......

Cruise to Catalina

Last week we went on a cruise to Catalina Island. They cancelled the port to Ensenada(something about swine flu, I don't really know, they haven't said much about it:)!!!!!) anyway we had so much fun. If you know me at all you know that I tend to forget my camera at the dumbest times, like when I want to take a picture. Luckily Brandon has his phone so we got some pics of Catalina. We went with our friends Jackie and Kevin. It was so nice to go on vacation without our kids. We missed them a lot, but the break was well worth it. Thank you everyone who helped watch them.


We stayed at Kevins parents house for a couple of nights and went swimming and hot tubbing. Fun!!! Kevin and his brother decided to throw Brandon in the pool. Everything was good until they discovered Brandon had his phone on him. No worries it dried out quite nicely.

I love these towel animals that they do, they are so cute.

The island was so cool. We rented a golf cart and cruised around checking out the place.

The only downside of the whole trip, was that it was chilly. I was expecting to lay out and get a tan, but instead we ended up wearing sweatshirts most of the time.

Mothers Day

For Mothers Day my sister Rachel and I decided that we wanted to get my mom one of those edible arrangements. Come to find out, those things are EXPENSIVE. So being the creative types that we are, we decided to do it ourselves. I think it turned out rather well!!!!!!!!!

We also had a barbecue at my house, which turned out to be a lot of fun. I don't have any pics of that, because Rachel took them all, but maybe if Rachel blogged we would be able to see them:)

Day at the Zoo

So I am a little behind, but I am going to do 3-4 posts to get caught up. The first one is the trip to the Zoo. This was Austins first time, but Kylee's second. They thought it was pretty cool. The big water ball is always a hit.



I couldn't get Kylee to pose with with the giant gorilla so here is Austin and me.

We went with my friend Jackie and her girls. AvRee and Kylee had a lot of fun together.

I think Kylee liked the train the best.

Kylee ,Wynter and AvRee. It was pretty tricky to get them to stand still long enough.

Austin wasn't the biggest fan of doing this, so this is the best that we got.

Sad, that my arms are almost as long as the gorillas. I guess that is where Austin gets it from.

Easter

Kylee wasn't the most cooperative on Easter. I tried to take a picture of her and her basket, but she kept hiding her face. I also wanted a picture of her in her new Easter dress, but she cried the whole time. You can tell in the picture, because her eyes are all red, and if you know my daughter, you know that her new thing is to pick her nose. Gross, I know. I am going to add this to the "Pics Kylee will love when she is older" file.

Austin on the other hand loved his Easter basket. He thought those eggs were so cool. I had to take pics of him in his church clothes, because I just think he is so studly. We went to Brandon's brothers house for dinner. We had tons of fun. There was a full house, but they have plenty of house to fill, so it worked out. Dinner was delicious!!!! It was a very nice day.
